Torrid for the win!
At this point in my transition, 3 years HRT, 66 years old, my clothing is almost exclusively from thrift stores. It's relatively pain-free. If I buy something it's only a few dollars, if it doesn't fit I donate it to Marsha's Closet, my nearest local trans support group.
In general: women's sizes are strange and I don't know why we/they put up with it.
I found an unexpected source of great clothes for big people (6f1, 230 pounds) at Torrid clothing in Morgantown WV. Very helpful staff. Very trans friendly. An excellent shopping experience. Just wow. It's the way clothing shopping should be.
